This program utilizes cognitive-behavioral approaches in an experiential and dynamic mode. It focuses on the transition from military life to civilian life.

The Connection

Veterans can be referenced as feeling like a wild horse that needs to be tamed along with their experiences, such as recurrent nightmares, overwhelming emotions like rage, and unhealthy ways of relating.

The Goals

  • Explore the strengths and techniques for coping and surviving during combat
  • Help Veterans become more aware of the trauma they experience.
  • Develop traits connected with resilience and relevance.
